I started this site because I love sewing! I am mostly interested in making historical costumes and I can’t just make them to put in my closet! I also, thought I would offer my sewing abilities to those who are looking to dress modestly.
I first started making prairie dresses for girls and selling them on eBay when I was 14. I did it for 2 years then decided I would like to make more than just prairie dresses (it got a little boring making the same thing). So then I started doing regency dresses. I am on my second year with them and ready to expand again:) I learned to sew mostly on my own, but I can’t take all the credit I had a lot of help from my mom and older sister.
